Dr. Nate Berg grew up in Aurora, IL and obtained his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, and then attended Veterinary School at the University of Illinois. His special interests are surgery and radiology, and he is also Fear Free Certified. The Fear Free mission is to prevent and alleviate fear, anxiety & stress in pets and Dr. Berg’s goal is to deliver better care for his patients by looking after both their physical and emotional wellbeing.

His outside hobbies and interests include working out, exercising and spending time outdoors: whether that's hiking, being on a lake, or playing numerous sports: Soccer, Volleyball, and Golf (in that order). Dr. Berg has a Shepherd mix named Bronx. He loves to spend time with friends and is a HUGE Chicago sports fan, his favorites to watch being the Chicago Bears football and soccer.
